We received word this morning that Tommy's Grandma is unresponsive. We've spent most of the afternoon/night over at her house. She looks very peaceful and doesn't seem to be in pain. The hospice nurse doesn't think she'll make it much longer.
I'm so sorry to hear about this, but am glad she seems peaceful and not in pain. Praying for you and Tommy and all your family. Witnessing death is both difficult and enlightening (not sure if it's the appropriate word I'm looking for). Seeing how peaceful the person is right before he/she passes allows us to envision them going to see Jesus for the first time. I think it can serve as a reminder that death shouldn't be a scary thing. It should be like the worship song and Bible verse says, "One day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere."
Praying for you both & your family!!
